Scot Siegel

Author's Bio

Scot Siegel lives in Oregon with his wife and two daughters and works as an urban planning consultant. The author of three books of poetry, he is a member of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers and serves on the board of trustees of the Friends of William Stafford. His second full-length poetry collection is due out from Salmon Poetry in early 2012. Siegel edits the online poetry journal Untitled Country Review.

Siegel's other awards and commendations include: Pushcart Prize nominee (The New Verse News), Oregon State Poetry Association, First Prize, Poet's Choice; Nimrod International Pablo Neruda Poetry Prize, Semi-Finalist; Aesthetica Magazine Creative Works, Commendation; Richard Chambers Environmental Grant; Oregon State University Provost's Literary Award, Honorable Mention (1990)
