Was named the first Poet Laureate of Washington State by the governor (2008-2010). Distinguished Visiting Northwest Writer at Seattle University campus and in Ireland during summer Studies Abroad program. Co-Editor of Brooding Heron Press & Bindery, 1982-Present.
