Saara Myrene Raappana is a managing editor for <i>Cellpoems</i>, a poetry journal distributed via text message that received a 2010 Innovations in Reading Award from the National Book Foundation. She received her MFA from the University of Florida. Her poems can be found in journals like <i>32 Poems</i>, <i>Harvard Review Online</i>, and <i>The Gettysburg Review</i>, and her work has been featured on <i>Verse Daily</i>. Born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she is currently a Peace Corps volunteer serving in southern China.
