Author's Bio

Ruben Quesada is an Assistant Professor of English at Eastern Illinois University where he teaches creative writing and literature. He holds a Ph.D. in English (Texas Tech University) and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing & Writing for the Performing Arts (University of California-Riverside). Greenhouse Review Press published his first poetry collection, Next Extinct Mammal, in 2011, and he is currently seeking publication of a second poetry manuscript. He is the Founding Editor of Codex Journal, Poetry Editor at The Cossack Review, Fiction Editor at Bluestem Magazine, and contributor at Fringe Magazine.
