Author's Bio

Robert Sward has taught at Cornell University, Iowa Writers' Workshop, & UC Santa Cruz. Born & raised in Chicago, Sward served in the U.S. Navy in the combat zone Korean War Era. Later worked for CBC Radio and as book reviewer & feature writer for Globe & Mail and Toronto Star while living on Toronto Islands. His "New & Selected Poems, 1957-2011" was published by Red Hen Press in L.A. "Love Has Made Grief Absurd," work in progress: a book-length poem about dementia.
