Rachel Furey

Author's Bio

Rachel Furey grew up in upstate NY and received her BS from SUNY Brockport. She earned her MFA from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and is currently a PhD student at Texas Tech. Her nonfiction has appeared in the Press 53 Open Awards Anthology, Women’s Basketball Magazine, and three editions of Chicken Soup for the Soul. Her fiction has appeared in Freight Stories, Sycamore Review, Hunger Mountain, Terrain, and elsewhere. Her prose poetry has appeared in The Prose Poem Project and Stymie Magazine.
