Author's Bio

I started writing in 1972. I write fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction. I've published in a lot of little magazines and anthologies. I published my first book of poetry in 2000, and would like to see my most recent book, SEASONS, published. I am most inspired by nature and the seasons as it touches my personal life. Having grown up in L.A., where I loved the ocean, I'm now a tree and garden lover in NJ. My writing has always revolved around image as it connects with feeling. Like May Sarton, I believe in clarity, and aim for a deep simplicity. I write from the magic point where experience is suddenly illuminated.
