Molly Beer

Author's Bio

Molly Beer’s essays have appeared in Salon, Guernica, and Best Women’s Travel Writing, among other publications, and has been deemed “Notable” by Best American Travel Writing. She is a former contributing editor and founding member of Vela Magazine and the co-author of the oral history Singing Out (Oxford University Press, 2010). Molly holds degrees from Duke University, the Bread Loaf School, and the University of New Mexico, and in 2011-2012 she was an Olive B. O’Connor Fellow in Creative Writing at Colgate University. She currently teaches in the writing program at Scripps College.
