I am a poet, playwright, fiction writer, essayist, and psychoanalyst. From 2009 to 2012, I have served as Editor of Other/Wise, an on-line psychoanalytic and creative arts journal. Two of my one-act plays, "Grail Green" and "Three Street Koans", which share the same main character, were produced together under the umbrella title "Koolaid" at the Forum Theater of Lincoln Center in 1971, directed by Jack Gelber and featuring Robert De Niro. "Grail Green" has been published in Other/Wise, Volume 6, Fall 2011, and "Three Street Koans" in Volume 8, Fall 2012. On the home page of the International Forum for Psychoanalytic Education, www.ifpe.org, is a link to Other/Wise, and a link to a Reviews section. I have published reviews of books, theater productions, a music CD, and art exhibits in the Reviews section. I serve on the Editorial Board of The Psychoanalytic Review. My website is www.merlemolofsky.com. A full list of my publications, sample writings, and my blog can be found on that site. I have published many psychoanalytic articles and book reviews in numerous psychoanalytic journals, and poetry and fiction in numerous small press literary magazines.
