Author's Bio

Matthew Hittinger's titles include the collection Skin Shift (Sibling Rivalry Press, 2012) for which he received a 2012 Debut Poet nod from Poets & Writers Magazine on their 8th Annual List; the forthcoming The Erotic Postulate (Sibling Rivalry Press, 2014), and the chapbooks Platos de Sal (Seven Kitchens Press, 2009), Narcissus Resists (GOSS183/MiPOesias, 2009), and Pear Slip (Spire Press, 2007) winner of the Spire 2006 Chapbook Award. Born and raised in Bethlehem, PA, Matthew did his undergraduate work in Art History and English at Muhlenberg College and received his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan where he won a Hopwood Award for Poetry and The Helen S. and John Wagner Prize.
