Matthew Hamilton

Author's Bio

Matthew Hamilton is a former US Peace Corps Volunteer: Armenia (2006-2008) and the Philippines (2008-2010). Prior to his Peace Corps service, he was a Legislative Assistant on Capital Hill and, prior to that, a Benedictine Monk. He holds a BA in History from Belmont Abbey College and an MFA from Fairfield University. He is a poetry reader for the online magazine, Mason's Road and Drunken Boat. He was nominated for a 2013 Pushcart Prize. He is the Librarian at Benedictine College Preparatory, an all male, Catholic military high school in Richmond, VA.
