Author's Bio

Mary Harwell Sayler has placed approximately 1500 poems, articles, devotionals, and children’s stories in a variety of journals, e-zines, or anthologies and 26 traditionally published books such as a 7-book devotional series, 2 life-health encyclopedias, a children’s picture book, and 2 books of poems. In 2012 the environmental publisher Hiraeth Press published her first poetry book, Living in the Nature Poem. In 2014 Kelsay Books, a secular press, published her Bible-based poems Outside Eden and also contracted to publish her book of children’s poems, Beach Songs & Wood Chimes. In addition, Mary has 3 e-books on Kindle for poets and writers: the Christian Writers’ Guide, Poetry Dictionary For Children & For Fun, and a poet-friendly home study course, the Christian Poet’s Guide to Writing Poetry. For a minimal fee, she also works with poets, one-on-one, through her website. She writes about poetry on the Poetry Editor & Poetry blog, reviews new editions of the Bible on the Bible Reviewer blog, and highlights posts on writing or the Bible on her Mary Sayler blog.
