Author's Bio

Mary Harwell Sayler has written 1500 poems, articles, devotionals, and children’s stories for a variety of journals, e-zines, or anthologies and placed 26 traditionally published books, ranging from a 7-book devotional series and 3 children’s novels to 2 life-health encyclopedias, a picture book, and 3 books of poems. In 2012 the environmental publisher Hiraeth Press published her first poetry book Living in the Nature Poem then released it in 2014 as an e-book. Also, in 2014 Kelsay Books published her book of Bible-based poems Outside Eden and, later, her book of nature poems for children, Beach Songs & Wood Chimes. Besides her work for Christian and educational publishers, Mary wrote and self-published 3 Kindle e-books for poets and writers: the Christian Writers’ Guide, Poetry Dictionary For Children & For Fun, and the poet-friendly home study course, Christian Poet’s Guide to Writing Poetry. For a minimal fee, she continues to work with poets, one-on-one, through her website.
