Author's Bio

I am the author of more than twenty books of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and drama. I have done over 100 public readings and workshops and have taught writing at the middle school, high school, and college levels for thirty years. My freelance work has appeared in many national and regional publications including English Journal, Teacher Magazine, World Hunger Year Magazine, Discoveries, and The New York Daily News.
