Leila A. Fortier

Author's Bio

Leila A. Fortier is a poet, artist, and photographer currently residing in Okinawa, Japan while pursuing her BFA in English Creative Writing through Southern New Hampshire University. Her unique visual poetry is crafted into abstract designs, often accompanied by her own multi-medium forms of art, photography, and spoken performance. Her work has been translated into several foreign languages in a collaborative movement to foster cultural diversity through poetry and literature. With over one hundred publishing credits; her work in all its mediums has been featured in a variety of literary publications both in print and online. She is the author of Metanoia’s Revelation (2007), and editor of two books benefiting humanitarian causes: A World of Love: Voices for Carmen (2007), and Pappankalan, India: Through the Eyes of Children (2010).
