Leah Umansky

Author's Bio

Leah Umansky is the author of the Mad-Men inspired chapbook, Don Dreams and I Dream (Kattywompus Press, 2014) and a full-length collection, Domestic Uncertainties (BlazeVOX 2013). Her third book is the dystopian/sci-fi Straight Away The Emptied World, forthcoming from Kattywompus Press in 2016. She is also the curator of the COUPLET Reading Series in NYC. Her poems can be seen in such places as Poetry Magazine, Barrow Street, and The Brooklyn Rail, among others. Flavorwire named her #7 of 23 People Who Will Make You Care About Poetry in 2013. She is a Mad Men & Game of Thrones superfan, and three of her #GoT poems have recently been translated into Norwegian by Beijing Trondheim.
