Lauren Camp

Author's Bio

Lauren Camp is the author of two collections, This Business of Wisdom (2010) and The Dailiness (2013), which won the National Federation of Press Women Poetry Prize and was a World Literature Today “Editor’s Pick.” Her third book, One Hundred Hungers, won the Dorset Prize (Tupelo Press, 2016). Her poems appear in Slice, The Seattle Review, Beloit Poetry Journal and many other journals. She has twice guest edited special sections in World Literature Today —international jazz poetry (2011) and poetry about contemporary visual art (2015). She also guest-edited a mini-anthology for Malpaís Review on the poetry of Iraq. Other literary honors include a Black Earth Institute Fellowship, the Margaret Randall Poetry Prize from The Más Tequila Review, an Anna Davidson Rosenberg Poetry Award, and residencies with the Gaea Foundation, The Mabel Dodge Luhan House and Truchas Peaks Place. She teaches creative writing in northern New Mexico, and produces and hosts “Audio Saucepan”—a global music program interwoven with contemporary poetry—on Santa Fe Public Radio. www.laurencamp.com.
