Jenni B. Baker

Author's Bio

Jenni B. Baker is a found poet based in Bethesda, MD. Her primary sources include newspaper articles, historical texts, science- and math-related writings, and other poems (remixed into centos). Recent venues at which she has read include The Writers Center (Bethesda, MD) and VisArts (Rockville, MD). She is the founder and editor-in-chief of The Found Poetry Review (http://www.foundpoetryreview.com), a biannual print journal dedicated to publishing found poetry. In 2011, she launched a successful Kickstarter campaign for The Found Poetry Project, an initiative which distributed 500 found poetry kits in communities across the U.S. during National Poetry Month. Jenni holds an MA in Professional Writing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a BA in English in French from the University of Kentucky. By day, she works in online communications for a large nonprofit.
