Gregory Luce was born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Texas, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. Along the way, he acquired a BA in English and an MA in Creative Writing at Oklahoma State University and did additional graduate work at the University of Southern Mississippi. The father of two sons, he currently resides in Washington DC, where he works for the National Geographic Society as Production Specialist.
