I grew up in rural Maine and currently live in northeastern Pennsylvania. I've had varying levels of success as a blueberry raker, a dishwasher, a hotel night auditor, and a reporter. I'm glad to be writing fiction.
Currently I'm completing a collection of short stories and working on a novel. Next fall I'll be attending the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop as an MFA candidate in fiction.
