Frankie Soto

Author's Bio

Frankie Soto otherwise known as Hidden Legacy, a native of New York whose Puerto Rican roots and New York State of mind has been fused to create this blend of multicultural style has been transcending spoken word poetry into a diverse mainstream attraction for years. From comical embarrassing revelations “My elementary school teacher asked me what Puerto Rican was and I had no freaking idea” to uplifting momentous energy “God is the ultimate magician, why do you think he‘s invisible, so skin color would never be a distraction” this artist never fails at creating a space of open expression and allowing each person to exchange emotions freely. “Would you believe me if I told you that anyone within twenty feet of Hidden Legacy could physically feel his words” ~James P Wagner, Long Island Poetry Examiner/ Co editor of “Perspectives-Autism Anthology.” From winning Poet of the year during college in 2006 to being invited to the College National team in 2007 & winning slams all over New York City, this artist did not become complacent or settle on accomplishments. “ If you don‘t build on the moment and you live life from a rearview standpoint, you will be your biggest disadvantage to your dreams and goals.” Joining forces with National poets Shadokat & Soulful Jones he formed his group affiliate Words With A Pulse which would take the college and poetry scene by storm in 2008 and continues to be a huge presence in the poetry circuit and one of e highest demand poetry groups in the industry. “Unquestionably one of the best touring gigs going right now” Zachary Kluckman~ The Pedestal Magazine.
