Editorial Focus

FACT-SIMILE publishes handmade books, trading cards, and a free, large-format annual magazine. We are driven by the unification of form and content. Through the physical performance of the text, we strive to expand the definition of and bringing awareness to the act of reading.

In order to minimize our environmental impact, we primarily use recycled and reclaimed materials to make our books, trading cards, and magazine.

FACT-SIMILE is also an 8.5 x 11 literary journal published annual in the summer months.

Tips From the Editor

FACT-SIMILE is available free online and in print while supplies last. Our aesthetic is best described by the content featured in each of our past issues. Fact-Simile is published annually during the summer months. Submissions are accepted between January 1st and April 1st every year. We are looking for poetry and prose that exhibits a sharp attention to craft, content and form. We favor thought-provoking work, true to its own designs, with little to no regard for the arbitrary margins of genre.
