Author's Bio

Besides fiction, I write nonfiction and have been published in numerous best-selling anthologies, including 'Love You to Pieces' and 'View From the Bed:View From the Bedside.' My work has appeared in Bitch Magazine, Mediphors, Willamette Week, the Oregonian newspaper and the New York Times. I've given readings at Powell's Books, Barnes and Noble, Borders, Oregon Literary Review First Wednesday reading series, Show and Tell Gallery; I've also been videotaped for a half-hour author interview segment on Back Page. I'm a member of the NBCC and the nonfiction editor of Thumbnail, a print literary and arts journal.
