Author's Bio

Erin Entrada Kelly’s debut novel is forthcoming in 2013 from HarperCollins’ Greenwillow Books. Kelly is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and the Asia-Pacific Writing Partnership. Her writing has been short-listed for the Eric Hoffer Fiction Prize and the Philippines Literary Award for Short Fiction. She has been published in literary journals worldwide, including the Kyoto Journal, Philippines Free Press, Story Philippines and Keyhole. Kelly, a Filipina American, was raised in Lake Charles, La., where she graduated with a degree in liberal arts and women's studies from McNeese State University. Much of her work is set in the South. She now lives in suburban Philadelphia and works as a freelance editor.
