Detrick Hughes

Author's Bio

Detrick Hughes was born and raised in Beaumont Texas. He received a BBA from the University of Houston and an MFA from Ashland University. Detrick has five books of poetry and two spoken word CDs. In addition to working commercially, he is an Adjunct professor with the Houston Community College System. He also serves as the Director of the American Root Reading Series (www.americanroot.com).
