Author's Bio

Daniel Torday is the author of the novella The Sensualist, winner of the 2012 National Jewish Book Award for Outstanding Debut Fiction and the 2013 Goldberg Prize. His short stories and essays have appeared in Esquire Magazine, Glimmer Train, Harper Perennial’s Fifty-Two Stories, Harvard Review, The New York Times and The Kenyon Review. He is an editor at The Kenyon Review, and teaches in the Creative Writing program at Bryn Mawr College. His first novel, The Last Flight of Poxl West, will be published by St. Martin's Press in the winter of 2015.
