Dan Guenther

Author's Bio

I have published four novels and two collections of poetry. I was a captain in the Marine Corps and my Vietnam trilogy is based on my combat experiences in Southeast Asia. My novel, GLOSSY BLACK COCKATOOS, the 2010 Colorado Authors' League Award selection for Genre Fiction, grew out of my experiences in Australia following the Fall of Saigon. THE CROOKED TRUTH, my second collection of poetry, was the 2011 Colorado Authors' League award selection for Poetry (Books).
