I served as Poet Laureate of Livermore, California from May 2005 to June 2009. I now run a popular reading series in the San Francisco Bay Area in Crockett, Ca (The Valona Deli Second Sunday Poetry Series) My most recent Chapbook "And When the Sun Drops" was released by Finishing Line Press in July 2012.It received the Aurorean Editors Chapbook Choice Award for Fall 2012 and a one of the poems, a Pushcart nomination.
