The 2015 Catamaran Writing Conference will be held from August 12 to August 16 at the Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, California. The conference offers workshops, craft lectures, daily excursions, and publishing panels for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers. The faculty includes poets Ellen Bass and Toi Derricotte; fiction writers Scott Hutchins, Elizabeth McKenzie, and John Straley; and nonfiction writers Robin Hemley, Frances Lefkowitz, and Dan White. The keynote speaker is fiction writer Karen Joy Fowler. Participating writers included poets Sara Michas Michel and Zack Rogow and fiction writers Christian Kiefer and Alfredo Véa; participating publishing professionals include Mark Allen Cunningham and Tom Christensen. The cost of the conference, which includes tuition, most meals, and lodging on the Robert Louis Stevenson School campus, is $1,050 until April 15 and $1,250 thereafter.
