Caroline Hagood is an English PhD candidate with a focus in 20th century American poetry at Fordham University, where she works for the Poets Out Loud book and reading series and edits CURA: A Literary Magazine of Art and Action.
Her poetry has appeared in Shooting the Rat (Hanging Loose Press), the Huffington Post, La Petite Zine, and kill author, among others. She has also written on film and poetry for The Guardian, Salon, the Huffington Post, and the Economist.
Her first book of poetry was a finalist for the 2011 FutureCycle Poetry Book Prize and was published by FutureCycle in June of 2012.
