Author's Bio

Carol Smallwood, multiple Pushcart-nominee, edited Bringing the Arts Into the Library (American Library Association, 2014); Women on Poetry: Tips on Writing, Revising, Publishing and Teaching (McFarland, 2012) is on Poets & Writers Magazine List of Best Books for Writers. Writing After Retirement is forthcoming from Scarecrow Press; her third poetry collection forthcoming from Lamar University Press. Some of her over four dozen nonfiction books were published by Peter Lang, Libraries Unlimited, American Library Association, Scarecrow Press. Her columns include those for The Detroit News; her book reviews have appeared in such publications as: Book/Mark: A Quarterly Small Press Review. Carol appears in Contemporary Authors, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World.
