Author's Bio

My new novel, A Great Fullness, is forthcoming from Aqueous Books. Currently at work on a memoir about my late son Francis and our experience as a military family during the past decade of American war. Excerpts appear in Rathalla Review (Fall 2013), The Whirlybird Anthology of Kansas City Writers (2012), and New Plains Review (Spring 2014). When I'm not writing, I serve as the Director of Development for the Sierra Club's Kansas Chapter.
