Bill Hoagland taught creative writing, feature writing, literature, literary magazine editing & production, and other courses at Montana State University-Havre and Northwest College (Wyoming) in a career spanning 33 years. His publications include "Place of Disappearance," a chapbook of poems from The Willow Bee Publishing House, and he edited and published the anthology "Ring of Fire: Writers of the Yellowstone Region" from The Rocky Mountain Press.
Recently retired from teaching, Hoagland now lives in Missouri with his grandchildren while his son serves a tour of duty in Afghanistan. He is available for readings, workshops, and judging poetry contests.
