Editorial Focus
Our magazine features fiction, poetry, and interviews with emerging writers and artists. Recognizing the need for independent book publishers, we formed the press & magazine to platform overlooked writers. We strive to work with authors, nurturing their talent, always respecting individual creative vision rather than only considering the potential for profit. With this in mind, we publish work that experiments with and tests boundaries. We are proud members of CLMP.
Tips from the Editor
Please read our guidelines and wait for us to reply before resubmitting. It's also a great idea to read our magazine for an idea of what we've published before. Free access to the magazine (in full) is available by visiting our website: www.34thParallel.net. We're open to all genres but generally do not publish historical romance, science fiction, erotica, Gothic horror, book reviews, or non fiction. We will consider anything written well that communicates a sense of wonder, reality, tragedy, fantasy and or brilliance.
