Creative Nonfiction Writer, Poet
Sarah M. Wells is the author of Pruning Burning Bushes (2012) and a chapbook, Acquiesce (2009). Her essays have appeared in Ascent, Brevity, Relief, River Teeth, and elsewhere. Wells is the Administrative Director of the low-residency MFA Program at Ashland University, where she serves as Managing Editor for both the Ashland Poetry Press and River Teeth: A Journal of Nonfiction Narrative.
Both my poetry collections have won national awards. I also have a volume of translations published by Univ. of CA PRess. My current manuscript, "Odd Lots, Scraps, and Second-Hand Like New" is complete and under consideration at several presses.
