Dan has shared the stage with former US Poet Laureate and Pulitzer Prize winner Ted Kooser and Pulitzer Prize winner Yosef Komunyakaa. Performing in over 30 states Dan has read his work at venues such as Brown University, the University of Maryland, the University of California-Berkeley, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Creighton University, and the State University of New York at Oneonta. From 8/08 to 8 /09 he served as Co-Director for Denver Minor Disturbance Youth Poetry. His work has garnered acceptance into MFA programs at Sarah Lawrence, NYU, and the University of Glasgow.
Rebecca Macijeski received her MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2011 and is currently studying toward a PhD in Poetry at University of Nebraska—Lincoln where she teaches introductory composition and creative writing classes. She serves as an Assistant Editor in Poetry for Hunger Mountain and Prairie Schooner, and is an assistant to Ted Kooser’s newspaper column, American Life in Poetry. Some of her recent work has been featured as part of the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project, and she is a recipient of a 2012 Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Prize. She has attended artist residencies with The Ragdale Foundation and Art Farm Nebraska. Poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Poet Lore, Painted Bride Quarterly, Rappahannock Review, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Whiskey Island, Lullwater Review, Fickle Muses, Phantom Drift, Clackamas Literary Review, Border Crossing, Fourteen Hills, and others.

Matt Mason has won a Pushcart Prize and 2 Nebraska Book Awards (for Poetry in 2007 and Anthology in 2006); was a Finalist for the position of Nebraska State Poet in 2013; has organized and run poetry programming with the U.S. Department of State in Nepal, Botswana, and Belarus; and been on 5 teams at the National Poetry Slam. He edits PoetryMenu.com, a listing of every Nebraska poetry event. He is Executive Director of the Nebraska Writers Collective, a former board president of the Nebraska Center for the Book, and has served as the Nebraska State Coordinator for Poetry Out Loud, a Poetry Foundation/NEA program. Through the Nebraska Writers Collective, Matt has run the Louder Than a Bomb: Omaha Youth Poetry Festival each spring since 2011. His website is matt.midverse.com.
