Robert Fanning is the author of Old Bright Wheel (Ledge Press Poetry Award 2003), The Seed Thieves (Marick Press, 2006) and American Prophet (Marick Press, 2009). An Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Central Michigan University, Fanning's poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Poetry, Ploughshares, The Atlanta Review, The Hawaii Review, America, The Ledge, and Artword Quarterly. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Sarah Lawrence College, Fanning's writing awards include a Creative Artist Grant from ArtServe Michigan, the Inkwell Poetry Award, and the Foley Poetry Award.
Patricia Farewell has taught poetry at all levels, through Teachers and Writers Organization, the Westchester Arts Council, and Poets in Public Service. She also co-edited Voices From the River, a poetry anthology published by The Hudson Valley Writers' Center. She has also given many readings, most recently at Alma College in Alma, Michigan.
