Patricia Valdata writes novels, poems and nonfiction. Her publications include the poetry book Inherent Vice (Pecan Grove Press, 2011); the novels The Other Sister (Plain View Press, 2008), Crosswind (Wind Canyon Publishing, 1997); and the poetry chapbook Looking for Bivalve (Pecan Grove Press, 2002). Valdata received an MFA in writing from Goddard College and works as a writing consultant and an adjunct associate professor for the University of Maryland University College (UMUC). Valdata has judged creative writing competitions in poetry and fiction. She participated in the Women's History Month reading at Stockton State College in March 2011 and has also read in New Brunswick, NJ; Bethesda, MD; Elkton, MD; Washington, DC; and Amherst, VA.

Hannah VanderHart lives by the Severn River in Annapolis, MD, with her husband Luke. She has her MFA in poetry from George Mason University, and is currently a graduate student at Georgetown University in Washington, DC where she works with Carolyn Forche at the Lannan Center and assists with the Lannan Center's poetry reading series.

Davi Walders's poetry and prose have appeared in more than 200 publications, including JAMA, Crab Orchard Review, Ms, Lilith, and many anthologies. Her book, WOMEN AGAINST TYRANNY: Poems of Resistance During the Holocaust, will be published by Clemson University Digital Press in 2011. She developed and directed the Vital Signs Poetry Project at NIH and The Children's Inn at NIH which was funded by The Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry.
