Shelley Puhak's second collection, Guinevere in Baltimore, was selected by Charles Simic for the Anthony Hecht Prize. She is also the author of Stalin in Aruba (Black Lawrence Press) and the chapbook The Consolation of Fairy Tales (Split Oak Press). Shelley is an assistant professor of English at Notre Dame of Maryland University. She lives in Baltimore with her husband and son.
