Recently, my chapbook Coming Unfrozen was published by Blue Light Press. I love to play Trouble™ with my two children, knit while watching Lost and order the Ok Dol Bi Bim Bab on Friday nights with my husband at the Mint Café. My first children's book, My Sister, Alicia May, was published this May by Pleasant St. Press (www.pleasantstpress.com.
Cindy Veach’s debut poetry collection, GLOVED AGAINST BLOOD, will be published by CavanKerry Press in fall 2017. Her poems have appeared in Chicago Review, Prairie Schooner, Poet Lore, Michigan Quarterly Review, The North American Review, The Journal, Carolina Quarterly and elsewhere. She was a finalist for the Ann Stanford Prize and the Grolier Prize and was awarded honorable mentions in the Ratner-Ferber Poet Lore Prize and the Crab Creek Review Poetry Prize. She received a BA from Coe College and an MFA from the University of Oregon. She co-edits VOX MOM, the MOM Egg Review blog and volunteers for Mass Poetry (masspoetry.org). She lives in Manchester, MA.
