Jessica Reed’s poetry and non-fiction first appeared in Isotope: A Journal of Literary Nature and Science Writing. She has a MFA in Poetry and a BS in Physics, both from Purdue University. She has taught creative writing at Scottsdale Community College, Ivy Tech, and for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, where she designed and taught “Writing Workshop: Where Art Meets Science”. She teaches science-themed poetry at an all-female STEM summer program in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. She currently teaches a freshman seminar at Butler University on Physics and the Arts.
Nicole Louise Reid is author of the short story collection, So There! (SFA University Press) and a novel, In the Breeze of Passing Things (MacAdam/Cage). Her stories have appeared in The Southern Review, Other Voices, Quarterly West, Black Warrior Review, and Meridian. Her next novel is forthcoming from Tin House Books.
