Tamara J. Madison is a writer, poet, and performer currently living and working in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the author of KENTUCKY CURDLED, poetry and essay, available in digital, audio, and paperback formats. She has also published a collection of short stories, COLLARD COUNTY. Her critical and literary works have been published in a number of anthologies including: Temba Tupu!, an international anthology of Africana Women, Sisterfire, and Check The Rhyme: An anthology of female poets and emcees. Her poetry, fiction and critical work have been published in various literary journals, magazines and sites, most recently aaduna, Poetry International, Web Del Sol Review of Books, Tidal Basin Magazine, and Black Magnolias. She has taught as an instructor of English at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Hudson County Community College in New Jersey. Tamara is a dynamic performance poet and teaching artist currently available for readings, performances, workshops, and residencies.
