John Chávez

John Chávez received an M.F. A. from New Mexico State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His poems have appeared in Alice Blue, Anti-, Copper Nickel, Diode, Notre Dame Review, Palabra, Poet Lore, Portland Review, Puerto del Sol, Tusculum Review, Zone 3, among others. He is author of a chapbook Heterotopia, and co-author of a collaborative chapbook, I, NE: Iterations of the Junco. In 2009, he was the recipient of the Letras Latinas Residency Fellowship, a literary fellowship supported by the Institute for Latino Studies at the University of Notre Dame and The Anderson Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Redwing, MN. His collection City of Slow Dissolve was published by University of New Mexico Press' Mary Burritt Christiansen Poetry Series in 2012. He lives in Denver, CO.

Chelsey Clammer is currently enrolled in the Rainier Writing Workshop MFA program. She has been published in The Rumpus, Essay Daily, The Water~Stone Review and Black Warrior Review (forthcoming) among many others. She is an award-winning essayist, and a freelance editor. Clammer is the Managing Editor and Nonfiction Editor for The Doctor T.J. Eckleburg Review, as well as a columnist and workshop instructor for the journal. She is also the Essays Editor for The Nervous Breakdown. Her first collection of essays, BodyHome, looks at how we can find the concept of home in our bodies.
