Samuel Snoek-Brown teaches writing and literature at Pacific Northwest College of Art and Chemeketa Community College. His fiction has appeared in dozens of print and online literary magazines, and he works as production editor for Jersey Devil Press. He is the author of the fiction chapbook Box Cutters (sunnyoutside press 2013), and he received a 2013 Oregon Literary Fellowship to complete his novel Hagridden (Columbus Press 2014).

Award winning author of twelve books including Sleeping in Caves: A Himalayan Memoir and a collection of eco-essays Climate of Extremes: Landscape and Imagination. Marilyn teaches workshops in memoir, poetry and short fiction. A frequent performer of her work, she has been writer in residence at colleges, libraries, and literary arts venues. Her work has appeared in over a hundred journals and magazines including The Kyoto Review, The Sun, The Seattle Review, ZYZZYVA, Gargoyle, and the North American Review.
