Paul Vangelisti

Paul Vangelisti is the author of more than twenty books of poetry, as well as being a noted translator from Italian. Most recently, Two was published by Talisman House in 2010. His translation of Adriano Spatola's The Position of Things: Collected Poems, 1961-1992 (Green Integer, 2008) was awarded the American Academy of American Poets for translation in 2010. From 1971-1982 he was co-editor, with John McBride, of the literary magazine Invisible City and, from 1993-2002, edited Ribot, the annual report of the College of Neglected Science. Currently, with Luigi Ballerini, he is editing a six-volume anthology of U.S. poetry from 1960 to the present, Nuova poesia americana, for Mondadori in Milan. Vangelisti is Founding Chair of the Graduate Writing program at Otis College of Art & Design.

Charles Harper Webb's numerous books of poetry include Reading the Water, Tulip Farms & Leper Colonies, Amplified Dog, and Stand Up Poetry: An Expanded Anthology, which he edited. Shadow Ball: New & Selected Poems is forthcoming from the University of Pittsburgh Press. Among Webb's awards are the Morse Poetry Prize, the Kate Tufts Discovery Award, the Felix Pollock Prize, the Benjamin Saltman Prize, a Whiting Writer's Award, and a Guggenheim fellowship. His poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, Paris Review, Iowa Review, Ploughshares, Michigan Quarterly Review, Poets of the New Century, Best American Poetry, and The Pushcart Prize. A former rock singer/guitarist, he is a licensed psychotherapist, and directs the MFA Program at California State University, Long Beach
