In addition to making poems, Peter McNamara has translated poetry of Neruda, Garcia Lorca, and Blanca Castellon. A librettist, he wrote "East River Bridge," an opera for the Broooklyn Bridge centennial, and a choral ode for victims of AIDS (for NYC's Gay Men's Chorus).
