Bio: 

kaleema hasan is a published poet, short story writer and essayist. She is also a performance poet. Most of her work addresses the many social issues affecting modern American society and culture. Writing interests include the areas of race, gender, sexuality ,social justice and romantic love. Performs locally and regionally at clubs, community centers, schools and universities, churches, mosques and other religious institutions.
