Bio: 

A former international lawyer, I write fiction with international and multicultural flavors. My first story collection, IN AN UNCHARTED COUNTRY, won an Indpendent Publisher's Gold Medal. My novel in stories, WHAT THE ZHANG BOYS KNOW, won the Library of Virginia Literary Award for Fiction. My debut novel, THE SHAMAN OF TURTLE VALLEY, was published in May, 2019.
