Kim Chinquee has published in NOON, DENVER QUARTERLY, CONJUNCTIONS, PLOUGHSHARES, THE NATION, STORYQUARTERLY, INDIANA REVIEW, FICTION, MISSISSIPPI REVIEW, and over a hundred other journals and anthologies. She is the author of the collections OH BABY, PRETTY, PISTOL,VEER, WETSUIT, SNOWDOG, the novel, PIPETTE, and the novella I THOUGHT OF ENGLAND. She is senior editor of NEW WORLD WRITING QUARTERLY, associate editor of MIDWEST REVIEW,  chief editor of ELJ (ELM LEAVES JOURNAL, co-director of SUNY- Buffalo State's writing major, a completitive triathlete, and she lives with her three dogs in Tonawanda, NY.
