I write novels, short fiction, personal essays and travel essays. I am particularly interested in writers of the 1920s. I teach creative writing workshops in Europe based on my creative writing guide: The Soul of Place: A Creative Writing Workbook: Ideas and Exercises for Conjuring the Genius Loci
