Bio: 

Mark Terrill shipped out of San Francisco as a Deck Engineer Machinist in the U.S. Merchant Marine to Asia, Europe, and North Africa, where he studied and spent time with Paul Bowles in Tangier, Morocco, and has lived in Germany since 1984, working as a shipyard welder, road manager for rock bands, cook, and postal worker. He is the author of numerous collections of poetry, prose, and translations, and his work has appeared in over 1,000 journals and magazines, for which he has received four Pushcart Prize nominations. His work has been translated into French, German, and Portuguese, and he has given readings in various venues in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, and Prague. Currently, he lives on the grounds of a former boatyard near Hamburg with his wife and cats.
